How to Celebrate Your Achievements
I hate hustle culture.
There. I said it. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of hard work. But the movement that tells you to push yourself to the max every day, to go from goal to goal to goal without ceasing, to do whatever it takes to make it is just not something I can support.
I'm a goal-setter by nature, but when I hit my target -- what, I just go on to the next one? Where is the sustainable motivation in that? We've lost the practice of celebration, the willingness to take life a day at a time and just be okay with where we're at right now.
When I hit a goal, you better believe I'm gonna celebrate it. It's okay and important to take the time to get excited about all of the wins, big and small.
Not only does this improve your overall quality of life, but it'll also motivate you to do more knowing that you can celebrate when you get there.
Also, you deserve it. When you've worked like crazy for something, make sure you actually take the time to enjoy it.
